A New Blog Feature…
Anyone who knows me well knows that my graphic skills are ZERO or below… that is in terms of being able to design.
On the other hand, I am very much attracted to good design. I love looking at well done advertising pieces and admiring their creativity and their creator.
Recently while surfing wandering the net I came across a fellow in the UK named David Hockney. David runs a design firm named celsius and a blog known as davidthedesigner. I have been perusing his blog posts, and some of his design elements, and I have really enjoyed the visits.
“This made me smile”
One of the things David does on an irregular basis is a post called “this made me smile” where he points to signs, advertisements, pictures, brochures… whatever… that he finds on the net or in real life that “made him smile”.
“Happy snaps”
I’m going to go out on a limb here and “borrow” the idea from David. I’ll not steal his headline however.. so will rename my occasional blog articles simply as “happy snaps“… but the concept is the same. So when you see a “happy snaps” post on my blog.. just think of it as something that made me smile.
